Customize Your Kicks

0 comments

Ever wanted to customize your own shoes?  If so, NIKEiD.com is the place to go.  Spend a few minutes and around $150 and you’re that much closer to your own personally designed kicks!
Do’s
* Get different color shoestrings
* Order half a size bigger, just to make sure it will fit
* Customize with text on the heel clip like name or number
* Pick neutral hue/tone to make colors pop
* Customize with text phrases on the tongue

Don’ts
* Get a lot of white on the shoe; it will help keep it clean
* Pick all your favorite colors and try to combine them.  It can be too much.
* Forget about how different materials like synthetic leather, matte, or mesh give a different shade of the color

Soundbites

“It’s cool to create a pair of shoes that are unique to you and make you happy... it’s like a tattoo, but temporary.” Rachael Davies-Ludlow 23, UGA
