EKKLESIA
is a Greek Word meaning "called out"

Kinda similar to the Spanish word Iglesia meaning "Church"

Don't ever get complacent. We're all here to hear God's word. There will never be a day or time in our holy maturation that we will ever be done... NO. We must examine our heart because that's where our passions are.

I ask myself...

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE TO BE CALLED OUT FOR JESUS?

IF I DIDN'T GO TO CHURCH THIS WEEKEND, WHO ELSE WOULD KNOW? WHO ELSE WOULD CARE?

I know for me, I stuttered when it came time to answer this question. I knew that people wanted me to attend church, and that they expected it of me. But "life gets busy" and that's the excuse I tend to overuse whenever I feel a conviction brewing. Yet who is that person in my life that will push me when I want to slack. Who will encourage me when I all I want is the easy way out.

It’s a must, a MUST that the person we are in a relationship with is someone who doesn’t let us get comfortable being comfortable. If that makes any sense to anyone but me lol But we must always drive to be closer, because in that instant that we become complacent sin will creep in faster than a tsunami wave and crash over all the progress we’ve built up.

We need that accountability partner, someone that we can come together with to relate and concentrate on your purpose for being here.

Dear Lord, I want to please you with my words of my mouth and meditations of my heart. I want to spark a revolution for our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I pray that you let my whole life be a blazing offering, a life that shouts and sings the greatness of the king. Bend me and mold me use me for your glory. In Jesus' name. Amen

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 2 corinthians 4:7-12

The gospel so much exceeds the law in glory, that it eclipses the glory of the legal dispensation. But even the New Testament will be a killing letter, if shown as a mere system or form, and without dependence on God the Holy Spirit, to give it a quickening power. (2Co 3:12-18)

Dear Lord, I need Your loving touch today. Let Your love song wash over me and fill my heart. I release my feelings of doubt to You and rest in Your undying love. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
